Meet the sweet Wimberley family! They got a gift card for Christmas two years ago, and we have been trying to schedule this session for a since then. It's so hard to coordinate three families all while having a baby in the process, so we finally got an opportunity where my schedule worked for them.
It was a little warm this day, and you see they have 3 small children. Trying to wrangle children into picture taking is like herding cats, and that applies to just about every family I have had a session with. These 3 did a great job. I think there were a few promised prizes for smiling, and a slip and slide in view as a reminder of what happens when it is over.
I always try to make it quick when taking pictures with children, but if you have kids, you know they have another agenda. That agenda very scarcely matches our own. The little man in the green was ready for pictures, and he had all kinds of poses in mind. Very rarely do kids want to participate, let alone add anything extra. But this little trooper was on a mission to take pictures, and that he did!
